Story
What are we doing?
The West Midlands Police Sports & Wellbeing are planning to fundraise for Chester Zoo , Twycross Zoo & Dudley Zoo to help them continue their care, education and conservation work during this global pandemic.
These Zoo’s have been hit particularly hard by COVID-19 as they rely on ticket sales and donations to continue their work.
All funds raised will be distributed equally between each Zoo.
Our challenge
Our team plans to walk, run & cycle as many kilometers as possible between 4th January 2021 - 3rd February 2021 to try and match or exceed every pound raised on our JustGiving Page.

You can join us in our fundraising efforts by making a donation or by actively joining us on our team over on our Strava Group Page.
We encourage all our members, serving/ retired officers and staff, family members and corporate partners to take part and help make a difference this January.

3 years agoThank you to everyone who helped us raise money for some of our local zoo's. Between us, so far we have raised £235.00 and through the challenge our team covered 433KM through running, walking and cycling. We are still accepting donations until the end of February so if you are able to spare a few pound please consider supporting our efforts.
