Yesterday a 89 year old woman was brutally attacked and robbed in broad daylight.
The Neighbourhood Watch of the Woolwich Riverside Ward are collecting for her so that she might see and experience that as a community we do care about her.
Show some community spirit and donate.
The donations will be given to her via the Safer Neighbourhood Police Team.

6 years agoJust an update, the police visited her yesterday and let her know what we were doing. She is very overwhelmed and asked them to pass on huge thanks and that she couldn't believe how lovely people could be and she never expected such a gesture. The police and council and LAS also done a collection and raised £550.00 as well as giving her flowers. Such a wonderful gesture by all of you for your brilliant generosity towards a stranger.Well done to everyone, there is still time to donate if you haven't done so already. Thanks again
