Story
My wife and I are looking to start an official charity to financially help as many parents as we can when their children are in hospital.
After nearly loosing our son one christmas we noticed parents at the hospital who was unable to eat as the hospital does not provide free food for parents only supply vending machies, they can be costly if your not in work or dont have the funds.
We also overheard some conversations that parents where worrying about bills as they was unable to work due to being in the hospital. Looking after your children in hospital is a very tough time as you do not know what is around the corner. Worrying about your financial needs should be a worry that wasnt there. If we can help 20 parents a year through fund raising and small donations then thats a start.
Some parents are in hospital with their childrens for weeks even months. Me and my wife also own a childrens entertainment company so we would also donate our time for free a few hours a month to take our mascots and bouncy castles to brighten up the little lifes of the children.
We would be creating a website where parents can request help or people can request help on behalf of the parents
