We are two brothers, aged 11 and 14, wanting to raise a Christmas fund for Patsy, a 79 year old who lives on our road. Patsy has no family in London, and is quite disabled. Though she does have help from carers and her friend Brian, she does not get many visitors. She is wheel chair bound and has a difficult existence. She has a flat on the road, but she cannot afford cleaners and does not use the electricity much for either heating or lighting because of the cost. She has no hot running water or heating in her flat due to the cost. Her brother lives in Scotland but is not able to travel due to the cost. We think it would be nice to come together as a community on our street to donate a little that for Patsy will go a long way to helping her have a nice Christmas.
