My mum and dad rescued Yaisa last year from a Spanish pound where she had been for about 3 years since found on the streets at about 8 months old. She has been an absolute joy and is very well behaved and she goes everywhere with mum and dad - she adores them as much as they adore her. A couple of months ago she started to limp and after a couple of trips to the vet it was decided that she should have an X-ray. It turns out that she had stress fractures in both legs that have come about due to malnutrition as a puppy. She had to rest for a few weeks and mum and dad have been giving her some supplements and she is doing really well and only limps occasionally now. Mum and Dad did the sensible thing and insured Yaisa just in case something like this ever happened, but now the insurers are saying they won't pay the bill due to some confusion over a cancelled appointment. My mum and dad are both pensioners and on a bit of a budget and although they'll go without so they can pay the bill off, I really want to help them as I feel the pet insurer has really been unfair in not paying the bill. Mum and Dad do lots for me and they'll be cross that I'm doing this but I want to just help by taking a bit of the pressure off them. Thanks xx
