Yasin is a caring husband, father and friend to all those that have been fortunate enough to have come across him over the last 44 years of his life. He is a father of 3 beautiful young children. Over the last 2 months Yasin has been seriously ill and in and out of hospital with what started out as a chest infection. Sadly on Wednesday 17th May 2017 he was left devastated with the news that he had been diagnosed with lung cancer.

Over the years Yasin has served his community well and helped to positively impact and enrich the lives of many through his many roles that he juggled simultaneously. He has been a youth worker, police constable and an equality officer at Rochdale Council tackling subjects like extremism and community relations with positivity. He has brought laughter and smiles to so many lives over the years with his larger than life personality. He is one of the most caring, likeable and considerate people we know.

We as close friends want to do something for our incredible friend and his family. The funds will be used for alternative therapies to help our friend. Ironically, Yasin and his family have always been at the forefront of many fundraising campaigns with their time and generousity. Let us make an effort to spread the word and show our support for Yasin and his family in their hour of need. Any contribution, however small or large will be greatly appreciated.
