Story
I am planning to raise some money for a family recently arrived in England from Damascus, Syria. They have left all their family, friends and loved ones behind to start a new life in Birmingham.
They are currently living in a homeless shelter and will be moving into a house that has been given to them by Midlands Housing.
We need to help raise some money so they can carpet the house, buy a gas cooker, fridge freezer and washing machine. The house also needs to be painted and decorated as it has been empty for quite some time and is in need of attention.
All donation sizes are welcome. Every penny counts.
Thanking you all in advance!

7 years agoThank you for all the kind donations everyone has contributed to this cause! Please keep up the good work and continue to share the link with friends. The family are settling into their new home and have finally got a cooker and fridge feeezer fitted today. Carpet is nearly all fitted and curtains still need to go up. You have all been a part of this family and their journey in Birmingham, so thank you for all the support.
