YEEZY FOR KIKIE

It's so easy in life to undervalue it. But when you work with people everyday you meet inspirational human beings. It's not always in the ways you think.

I met a customer at the salon i work for as a hairdresser a number of years ago. Her life was like many others, married with husband and a lovely little baby. But the world can get turned upside down so quickly.

Kikie was her name and her husband was struck with cancer a few years ago, with many touch and go moments, he pulled through. We now stand in 2017 and only a few month ago Kikie, while on a family holiday, with her now 4 year old son, fell seriously ill.

After surgery to remove a mass and a diagnosis of sepsis, weeks passed and many appointments at hospital later, she has now got the fight of her life to prolong it. Being dealt the hand of Terminal Cancer, she has just started chemotherapy to try her very hardest to be around for her family as long as she can.

I will be there for her during the therapy and I hope that I do my personal part in making her smile and her family make as many memories as possible.
