Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered nonprofit.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
As you may know, "Kula" means community, and we are incredibly proud to be part of such a caring and loving community in Chapel Allerton.
On Sunday 10th March, we come together with yogi's across the globe for a one-day community yoga event, created to raise awareness of and funds for the anti-trafficking organisation Odanadi Seva Trust in India.
We are joined by Clare Kerrigan, Helen Ince, Catherine Rosenthall and Julia Knight, to complete 108 Sun Salutations throughout the afternoon. By standing alongside them, you will be demonstrating your solidarity and support, as well as sending a message of defiance against a world which allows these horrific abuses to take place.
We take an easy pace as we complete 4 rounds of 27 sun salutations, taking rest in between each session.
Ashtanga Yoga is of huge significance to the young people of Odanadi. As part of their rehabilitation program, it has allowed them to reclaim their bodies; build physical and mental strength, and restore a sense of peace, confidence and self-worth. By standing alongside them, you will be demonstrating your solidarity and support for them, as well as sending a message of defiance against a world which allows these horrific abuses to take place.
If you would like to join us, you can book your place via MindBody or call the studio on 07445625645. 🙏
