Story
Flood kills 27 in 2 days, makes over half a million victims in the northern part of Bangladesh. Flooding has affected parts of the country since early July after heavy rain in Bangladesh and upstream areas in India, China, Nepal and Bhutan have caused flooding since the beginning of July. By 02 July, eight districts in Bangladesh were affected: Rangpur, Kurigram, Sirajganj, Jamalpur , Bogra, Lalmonirhat, Gaibandha, Nilphamari and the southern district of Cox’s Bazar. More recently parts of Sylhet and Moulvibazar districts have also been flooded.
Aid is scarce, and therefore not enough for the hundreds of thousands affected. This is why we have taken it upon ourselves to create a fundraiser for the victims of this devastation, hence why we are reaching out to all of you - our friends and family. Even the cost of a coffee or shirt means a lot, every little helps! Together with your support and generosity we hope to provide a means of relief to those inflicted. Food, water, daily necessities, clothes and sanitary towels are a luxury at this moment in time for those that have been so unfairly robbed of their homes, families and livelihood - everything.
We know that it's common to question whether your funds are truly being given to the ones you intend it to be for when donating via charities, so I (Asif) have collaborated with a nonprofit in Bangladesh named YouthXpress, to deliver the relief. They are also collecting money from Bangladesh. Currently along with friends and family all forms of assistance both physically as well as monetarily is being given to the victims. So fret not, your money is going to the intended cause through trustworthy means. And we will update everything on the Facebook page of YouthXpress. So, you can always check where your money is being spending.
Please share with your close ones too.
Kind regards,

I always care about humanity. Back in Bangladesh, I was part of various organizations to help the helpless people. As I am out of the country now so this is the only thing I can do. So, I'm trying to collect some money to help the flood affected people, especially the children.
