    Story

Last month Debbie Masters passed away after being hit by a car in Battle High Street. I ran the Hastings half last week but didn't run for any cause or raise any money. I am going to run the Brighton Marathon in April (I have never ran a marathon before so this is a challenge in itself) and want to raise as much money as I can to go towards to family's unexpected costs. I know money doesn't solve everything and certainly will not help with the family's grief at this time but I hope it will go some way to show that the community of Battle and the surrounding areas can get together when called upon.
