Most people in our city have lost someone they care about, to suicide. Our loved ones may seem ok on the outside but sometimes they are not? We want everyone to know that there is support out there if you need it. We want to spread awareness about 'Zest - Healing the Hurt', 15a Queen Street, Derry. It is a warm, friendly and welcoming place where you can relax and feel comfortable to talk about how you feel, in confidence. A place where "It's OK to be me."

We created the dance competition, Zest Fest, because with all its moving, touching, twisting, and turning, dancing provides more than the daily dose of healthy physical activity. This art form also keeps the mind sharp and helps ward-off depression. So what better way to raise funds for suicide prevention in aid of 'Zest - Healing the Hurt'!

Zest have been offering their services for a long time and with our efforts in raising much needed funds and awareness, we will help them to continue to do so.

The money we raise will go straight to Zest - Healing the Hurt so that they can provide the amazing care, kindness and support that they give to those who don't feel accepted, don't feel safe or to those who have lost all hope.
