Nagykovácsi is a small town situated in a valley, some 15 km (9 miles) northeast of the centre of Budapest. The manor house in Nagykovácsi was built in the first half of the 19th century by the local Teleki family. Thereafter the property passed into the hands of the Tisza family and today it is known still as the Tisza Manor. Originally the children of Hungarian foresters received regular school teaching in this well-preserved building. As the Foresters did back in the day, We also wish to start our very own school in this great establishment, in the back yard, in the old stable building, a Waldorf Nursery School, which we hope will serve Nagykovacsi and the surrounding villages.

This small town is very popular with young families, which boasts the second largest birth rates in the entire country. This is our reasoning and why we show so much support for this school establishment, help us build a brighter future!
