My reason for making this page is my little sister Jade in the picture. she has been in a coma for 4 & a half months due to a rare condition called auto immune limbit encephalitis & in this time she has been looked after by the doctors & nurses on the intensive care unit 3 at James cook university hospital. When I say looked after I truly mean that, little things from filing her nails, looking after her hair, skin & general appearance to talking to her & calming her during mass episodes ranging from seizures, spasms, hallucinations, delirium & then all of there nursing duties on top of that. I no it's their job but for me what they do isn't just a job, it is definitely a vocation & I feel very lucky to know they are looking after my little sis as if she was one of their family. Its makes such a difference when you have to leave a loved one laid there so delicate & vulnerable knowing there is such amazing people looking after them. So we would like to say a massive thank you to the ICU by making a donation to the trust. Me, my Mam, some cousins, aunts & amazing friends are doing the Redcar Boxing Day dip 2016 to raise funds so any donations or sponsors would be brilliant & very gratefully received
