Following Tim's dynamic career in the army, his family rightly felt it appropriate to mark his achievements with a ceramic Memorial Poppy which went on sale following the display at the Tower of London in 2014. Unfortunately, Tim arrived home from work to find that the poppy had received significant damage which we are now aware was due to an accident innocently caused by a neighbour. Tim's devastation over the incident was the first instance in which I have seen his emotions get the better of him and I would like nothing more than to be able to give him back his poppy its original condition.

I have contacted several restoration companies with photos of the fragmented poppy to find out if it could undergo the appropriate repair work. They have all been more than willing to take on the job at hand however due to the extent of the damage, the lowest quote I have received is £295.00.

This is where I’m hoping you lovely people can come in! I have set up a JustGiving page to kindly ask for donations towards the restoration of the Poppy, it would add even more sentimental value to Tim to know that his friends and family helped to restore the Poppy to it’s former glory. I am also looking to buy a presentation box for the Poppy so it can be displayed **in the house** **away** from any more potential accidents🙈, having looked online these are at a cost of around £50.
