I am Zoe Freeman. I'm 16, studying in my first year of A Levels.
Next summer I'll be spending a month in Peru. It is a country of great poverty and I will be working to improve the living conditions for poor and rural communities. I will visit three different camps and while staying in each one, will be building, restoring and improving the current classrooms and community facilities. As well as this, I will work in the school kitchens to boost the hygiene and nutritional content of the meals as malnutrition is, unfortunately, very common in rural areas of Peru. While working in the school, I will also be teaching the children English and working with the whole community too.
I am doing a number of things to raise £4000 and this page is one of them. The money I raise will go directly towards funding this trip. I would be very grateful for any donation.
