Story

A team of staff from Croydon NHS Health Services Trust are proudly walking for eight miles together to raise awareness of dementia and delirium on World Dementia Day. 

An estimated 54 million people are living with dementia across the world.

The walk will raise vital funds to purchase items that will enhance our Wandle wards at Croydon University Hospital.

Walkers include:

* Sharling Bovell, Lead Nurse for Dementia Care

* Lynne Howarth, Head of Mental Health Nursing 

* Our fab team from Wandle Wards including Healthcare Assistants, nurses,  Matrons and other leaders
