Story
**Charles Thompson's Mission Sleep Out 2019**
On Friday 29th November, we are hosting our 4th sponsored Sleep Out event to increase awareness of homelessness and raise much needed funds to continue our work with people who are in need.
This year, over 100 people will be swapping their bed for a sleeping bag for one night. This is nothing like sleeping rough but it will give us an insight into homelessness and the issues faced. We work hard to make sure no one needs to sleep rough but unfortunately there are still people who need our help.
Every donation is massively appreciated and will be a huge help. With your help, we can continue to make a difference. Thank you!!
Serving the people of Birkenhead and the Wirral since 1892, the Mission looks to help men and women who are homeless, poor and needy, out of poverty. We provide hot food, clothing, toiletries, other basic essentials, along with much love, care and compassion. For many, the Mission is a place to come for friendship, food, support and advice. It’s a safe place that offers help. Without your support, we wouldn’t be able to play our part in this community.
