Team Curtis Moore are taking part in the Strictly Beatson Dance Competition on Sat 8th October at the Glasgow Hilton Doubletree to raise funds for the Wellbeing Unit at the Beatson Cancer Centre.    Almost everyone has been touched by cancer in some way and we want to raise funds to make the difficult period of treatment more bearable, comfortable and less lonely. 

 The unit provides all types of advice and support from a befriending service to hairdressers/wig making to simply a place to go and chill in tranquil surroundings. It takes away the feeling of isolation some patients experience when going through their treatment where they can chat to experts and other patients over a coffee. 

The Team (6 non dancers and VERY amateur !) with the help of 2 professionals - Kevin & Maria - have a journey ahead of us over the next couple of months to perform a dance routine in front of many people but this is our way of raising money for the unit and for future generations. Any support you can give will be extremely appreciated . Thank you !
