Story

I am going to join an exceptional biking expedition which traverses a rarely visited part of Peru, covering 365 miles of mountain terrain at an average altitude of 4000m, in order to raise money and awareness for the invaluable work of the Cystic Fibrosis Gene Therapy Consortium at Imperial College, London and improve the life of sufferers of Cystic Fibrosis. The consortium is the largest grouping worldwide aiming to translate gene therapy into clinical reality. It is an essential experimental approach to treat diseases that have an underlying genetic cause and offers a lifeline of hope to those with lethal inherited diseases. Please help science to progress by sponsoring my challenge.

However hard this challenge will prove to be, it is nothing compared to the hardship people with Cystic Fibrosis have to endure, burdened with daily treatments and medicine. Please join me on my quest for a better future! In order to follow the latest developments please visit  http://www.cfgenetherapy.org.uk

All funds raised will go to Just Gene Therapy and fund the work of the UK Cystic Fibrosis Gene Therapy Consortium
