We fund life changing research to change the future of spinal cord injury

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

The reason we doing the London marathon for Spinal Research

is because approximately 11 years ago my brother in law was in a motor bike
accident and was taken  to the royal free
hospital and was x-rayed and they found that there was something wrong with his spine,

They could not do the specialist examinations required and
they sent him to Stanmore orthopaedics which specialize in spinal injuries.

With their equipment and expertise they found that he had
broken 4 vertebras but thankfully no damage to the spinal column, he got an operation and thankfully he has made a full recovery.

Secondly and most importantly my sister was born with spina
bifida hydrocephalus, which is the most serious case of spina bifida, Throughout her short life she received such
great care and attention and was looked after brilliantly and the training and research that went into looking after her was exceptional.

So any amount of money in any shape or form will be greatly
appreciated

Thanks

Damien and Julie
