Story
I've been cycling for quite a few years and I like a challenge. The London - Surrey 100 fits that bill and even more so this year, since I crashed down a pothole in February and had to have two months off the bike. I got back in training only to then discover I'd fractured my collarbone.
I managed to reach a decent level of fitness, then caught the cough from Hell, so was off the bike for another month. I'm now back in training and hoping I'll be fit enough to make it round the 100 mile course.
What's keeping me motivated, is if Boris Johnson can do it, then so can I, no matter how many colds, coughs or potholes I encounter between now and the 10th August.
Please help me raise money towards the Space for Cycling Campaign. It's a campaign that's working to improve facilities and safety for all cyclists.
