Danielle's Dry December || CLIC Christmas 2013

Dry December || CLIC Christmas 2013 · 31 December 2013
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I've decided to pass on the booze- all those lovely cocktails, the mulled wine, the prosecco (eek!) - for the month of December. The money that I save, I'm going to donate to CLIC Sargent.
Last summer, my then 2-year old nephew was diagnosed with Leukemia. He's been incredibly strong and brave, and I feel truly grateful that we're going to get to spend a very exciting family Christmas with him this year at his home in Cornwall.
I know that CLIC have been there, day in day out for my brother and his family, providing clinical support, information and advice, and helping them to get away on a short break for a few days at the seaside- much needed respite.
I'm proud to be able to give up one of my little pleasures of the holiday season to help raise money for a charity that supports families for whom the festive period offers no respite; and I would be truly grateful if any of my friends want to skip a drink too for this worthy cause- no donation is too small!
Please visit CLIC's Christmas Appeal page for more information on the really valuable work they do. http://www.clicsargent.org.uk/
And I wish you all a very merry Christmas and New Year:) x
