Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I have decided to walk across all the bridges in London which is a total distance of 23km. The reason for this I have a good friend who has a son who suffers from CCHS.
Not many of you may have heard of this because it is a rare condition about 100 families are affected but they are affected in a big way.
What is CCHS well you know when you hold your breath? This is the problem that CCHS suffers have is there part of their brain that makes them breathe automatically does not function, this happens during sleep for all of them and for a few when their awake too. Finn has to be put on a ventilator every night and monitored 24 hours a day to ensure his oxygen levels stay the same.
I met Amanda on my last walk where she helped me finish the last few miles when I was ill and injured, after learning about Finn I see him as an incredible child who does not let hospital visits or being on a ventilator get him down he is a true inspiration for this walk for me.
Any sponsorships would be greatly appreciated I hope to raise a reasonable amount for a charity that might usually be quite unknown and I want to raise awareness of CCHS.
Thank you
