I have decided to run the London Marathon for various reasons. The main reason is to raise money for a charity that is close to my family. CLIC Sargent have been brilliant towards the care of Daniel and his family during his treatment for leukemia. It is a long tough road for all the family and with the support of many people I hope it will ease their journey a little. The sponsorship I hope to raise will go a little way to help the fantastic work already been done for Daniel, his family and all other children, young people and their families.

I hope you will all help and encourage me along my journey to the London Marathon, at the moment, it seems very daunting, but am sure with all your support I will get there.

I will be doing some other (mad!?) things along the way and hope you will all shout and cheer me on and support any event I may organise/take part in - Reading Half Marathon, cake sales, sweet sales, quiz nights etc. Let's make this a fun and great occasion.
