This December Lucy Milson, the Marketing Manager at Westwood Trustees, is taking a week out of office life to volunteer on Caudwell Children's Destination Dreams Trip. 

Destination Dreams is an organised holiday to Florida for 25 children fighting life threatening illnesses. Every child has a terminal prognosis or a severely life limiting or threatening condition. The children are accompanied by their immediate families and are supported by Caudwell Children's staff, volunteers and medical team. 

The magical Destination Dreams week provides families with happy memories they can cherish forever and the opportunity to make lifelong friends that understand their situation better than anyone else. The programme provides a break from the routine of painful treatments and hospital appointments. 

"I know this is going to be the toughest, most emotional week of my life, it's not going to be easy to see the pain first hand that these children, and their families, have to endure. I am already dreading the goodbyes at the end of the trip! But I am determined to help make a difference to the children's lives and help create lasting happy memories for the families. This trip costs over £300,000 so I want to raise a substantial amount to help this amazing charity as much as I can." Lucy Milson  

Lucy will be carrying out many fundraising activities between now and September and any amount whether large or small will be significantly appreciated and will go such a long way in making these final memories magical.
