We are doing a 700 mile in 7 days cycle challenge with a difference! In support of the fostering network, we aim to cycle the 700 miles utilising an exercise bike located in our Erdington branch. Many people from around the division will be taking part over a 7 day period as we look to raise a minimum of £1000  for the Fostering Network. Please support us as much as you can in what will prove to be a real challenge for us, and pledge as little or as much as you can spare for a charity that gets very little attention or media coverage.

Our work

We work with nearly 400 fostering services and around 57,000 foster carers to ensure all fostered children have a positive experience of family life, supporting them to have high aspirations, to overcome the challenges of their early lives and to achieve their very best. To make these a reality:

We stand up for fostering, foster families and fostered children and campaign to make foster care better. Together with our members and supporters we’re a powerful catalyst for change, and have been leading the fostering agenda for more than 40 years. We influence and shape fostering policy and practice at every level.

Each year our high profile Foster Care Fortnight campaign puts foster care in the media spotlight, and encourages more people to become foster carers, while our Fostering Excellence Awards celebrate fostering and the amazing role of foster carers.
