Story

On Saturday 13th October 2018 at Chepstow Racecourse, Dominic Elsworth, will line up for the sixth running of the Jump Legends Charity Race to raise money for the Bob Champion Cancer Trust.

Dominic rode approx. 450 winners in a career spanning 17 years retiring three years ago. Yorkshire-born, Elsworth primarily worked for Sue and Harvey Smith for 10 years before moving down south and riding for trainers such as Henrietta Knight and Oliver Sherwood.

Big race winners included the hugely popular Mister McGoldrick in the Cheltenham Festival Racing Post Plate and Somersby in the Grade One Victor Chandler Chase at Ascot.  Since retirement, Dominic has worked as a jockey coach and in the pharmaceuticals industry.
