In October I will be travelling out to Uganda to support the work of The Kabanda Trust at Rock of Joy Children's Centre in Lungujja. This area is really poor near to the capital city where children are given a free education and healthcare.

At Rock of Joy I will be working with the teenage girls pampering and teaching them about their bodies and how to look after themselves. Many of the girls have to miss school and more importantly exams during their periods as they do not have access to sanitary protection or underwear.  My friend Sue and I will be leading a music class with the young children.

I will also be working with the Wakisa Ministries in Kampala who provide care and support for the homeless pregnant girls. I am also hoping to spend some time at the Sanyu Babies Home.

I will be funding my own flight and paying for accommodation myself so all the money that you donate will be given directly to the trust to buy items for the children and young people that I will work with.
