Fundraising for Magic Breakfast
Story
As dunnhumby leaders we think Health and Wellness is so important to everyone, so we have assembled a team of both novices and 'rusty runners' to run the Royal Parks Half-Marathon and raise money for our designated Charity this year - Magic Breakfast.
Magic Breakfast do absolutely amazing work:
As many as 1.8 million school age children in the UK are at risk of hunger in the morning. A hungry child cannot concentrate. For 30p Magic Breakfast can give a child a healthy breakfast and wrap-around support at school, opening up hours of crucial lesson time in the morning. They ensure that no child in their partner schools is too hungry to learn by providing healthy breakfast food and expert support to help identify and reach those pupils at risk of hunger. They work with over 480 Primary, Secondary and ASL/Special Educational Needs schools, plus Pupil Referral Units, to make sure that more than 40,300 children start their school day in the best possible way.
