Story
Due to an ongoing heel injury I’ve unfortunately had to cancel my place for the London Marathon this year…I’m hopeful for next year though once recovered! 🤞
This October I will be running the London Marathon for the YHA. I started working for YHA back in 2020 and have seen first hand the work they do as a charity to provide young people with amazing opportunities and adventures in fantastic locations.
£15 could help a low income family to enjoy a holiday away after a tough couple of years
£40 could pay for a night’s stay for an NHS worker and their partner
£50 could pay for a young carer to grow in confidence through a day of thrilling activities
Today millions of young people live challenging lives together we can help create unforgettable moments in amazing places, on their first big adventure. With your support we can deliver experiences that have the power to change young people’s futures. Moments where young people believe in themselves for the first time, recognise their talents and develop the ambitions that will take them on a different path through life. For the millions of young people facing poverty, disability, long-term illness and other challenges, these moments are rare.
The names of everybody that donates will be entered into a raffle to win 2 nights free stay in one of our lovely little landpods at YHA Broadhaven. I’ll be posting the winner on our Instagram and Facebook pages on 31/10/22, so keep an eye out on @yhabroadhaven :)
