The 2.6 Challenge is a simple and fun way for everyone to do their bit to help save the UKs charities.

Story

Ellie will cycle 2.6km a day. whether its laps of the drive (52) or down to the bench and back plus 12 laps. Reality is that it is generally a lot more than 2.6 a day, but that is the minimum she does. Been at it a while already so may as well do some fundraising in the process. The animal charities tend to get forgotten but they still have running and feeding costs of the animals in their care, hence why she choose animals.

Save the UK's CharitiesGeneral fundraising has been hit very hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. Thousands of fundraising events have been cancelled and many charities, particularly smaller ones, are struggling to maintain services because of this huge reduction in income. This impacts all sectors of society from children to the elderly as well as the vital work in areas such as palliative care, serious diseases, mental health, housing support, food supplies and countless others that charities support.
