The Gillian's Saltire Appeal is a charity that honours the memory and life of Gillian Ward as well as simultaneously help make a real difference to the lives of others who suffer from cancer. 

The charity's main objective is to raise sufficient funds to provide and maintain respite accommodation for cancer sufferers, their families and carers in Ayrshire and other parts of Scotland, simply making a huge a difference to the lives of individuals suffering from the same illness as Gillian.

As I now live in New York City, I wanted to give back to the local charity and have entered myself into this half marathon, which is less than 5 weeks away! It would be amazing to be able to raise £100. Help a gal out across the pond and donate today - it's for a great cause and it would be greatly appreciated!
