You know when someone suggests something (Mary-Anne) and after a couple of glasses of wine it all seems like a terribly good idea?.. Well that is why on the 15th of September 2012 myself (Jan Doe),Mary-Anne Barron ,Trish Sharp, Sally Speakman and Carole Morley will be joining a group of Charity Challenge trekkers flying to Bejing.

We will be trekking for 7 days along various parts of the Great Wall of China It will be a challenging trek over both renovated and unrenovated sections of the wall. It will be STEEP,SLIPPERY,HUMID and HIGH.

We are totally self funding so ALL monies raised by the three of us featured on this page will go direct to our chosen charity St.Helena Hospice .We have been fund-raising throughout the year and so far have raised around £8000 for the hospice we are hoping to make it a nice round £10,000 so it would be wonderful if you could help us reach that target!!

We have clocked up many miles of walking since we started training last September. We have walked in the Lake District, Somerset and all the hills in Essex all to reach the peak of physical fitness (well nearly!)
