We at Moorhouse Consulting are embarking on a never-before attempted, 48 hour endurance pedalo race along the Thames from Oxfordshire to London to raise money for City Gateway, a charity helping disadvantaged young people in London.
Extreme Pedalo 2010 will pose many challenges, including: - Pain: pedalos are not designed for speed or comfort. At best it will be tiring, at worst it will be agony... - Fatigue: the relay event will last for 48 consecutive hours. Team members will be expected to pedal through day and night to complete the challenge - with only limited opportunity of sleep! - Obstacles: there will be over 30 locks en-route, and at each lock the pedalo will need to be carried out of the water. Our team is fully prepared (sort of) and looking forward to the event on 16th July!
