I am taking part in the Yosemite to San Francisco challenge in June 2015 to raise money and awareness for Stonewall.

Stonewall

Stonewall is a gay rights charity which campaigns for equality for gay, lesbian and bisexual people. Stonewall has been involved in every high profile advance in gay rights, including the repeal of Section 28, outlawing discrimination based on sexual orientation and, most recently, equal marriage.

Their work is very diverse, ranging from political campaigning and lobbying for legal change to tackling homophobia in schools and workplaces as well as providing everyday support to gay people and working with charities oversees.

Yosemite to San Francisco challenge

I am taking part in this crazy cycling challenge because I wanted to do something which would demand some long term training and dedication. Since building a road bike with my Dad in January 2014 I have been really keen to train for a cycling event and being able to raise money for Stonewall at the same time is great.
