Fundraising for Leo's
Story
Our team will be taking part in a full day hike across the Cleveland East Coast. Starting at Redcar at 8am and working along the Cleveland Way, finishing at Whitby the team will cover over 22 miles in a single day.
It gets better... you can make a difference too!
Leo's services support so many. So many Mums, Dads, Siblings and family members. So we are encouraging individuals, friends and families to take part in too.
All proceeds will be donated directly to the charity to support the vCreate service.
vCreate has been pivotal in keeping families together on neonatal units during the pandemic. Neonatal teams are able to send secure videos and pictures to families to keep them updated on their little one.
Currently used in James Cook, Sunderland Royal, Darlington Memorial, North Durham Neonatal Units and also provided to Zoë's Place Baby Hospice Middlesbrough through Leo's.
This allows more than 1,300 families to stay connected each year!
You don't need to complete the entire 22 mile trek (don't worry). You can simply complete a shorter distance of the route, at your own pace, at any set off point.
Just simply record your walk using 'Under Armour Map My Walk'
Our target is to cover a collective total of 500 miles in a single day.
You can either encourage sponsors to donate directly here or sponsor your efforts per mile using a physical sponsor sheet.
All participants must take social distancing measures into consideration, ensuring to only take part in your household bubble of six or less. Our team will be following strict distancing rules for the duration of the walk.
