The ME Association wanted to raise money to help fund crucial metabolomics research that could help improve the lives of those with ME and chronic fatigue syndrome. They pointed out that for many su erers what they would really want for Christmas is to feel better.

“Other giving sites put up obstacles or barriers to giving...but two of the features of ME (Myalgic Encephalopathy) are brain fog – clouded thinking – and extreme fatigue. We had to find something that was as easy to use at possible, with no time constraints as people with ME tend to function best at all kinds of different times. It was important to us that we had their needs foremost in our minds in our choice of product used. JustGiving offered one that we, and our supporters, were comfortable with”
