5 places to promote your deeplink
Maximise page creation by promoting your deeplink in key places
Deeplinks make it quick and easy for your fundraisers to create a page, whilst also ensuring they’re automatically linked to your organisation and the correct event. You can find out more information about why deeplinks are great, and how to create them here.
Once you’ve got your deeplink, you’ll want to ensure you’re maximising page creation by including them in some key places.
Including a deeplink in the event registration flow will ensure fundraising becomes synonymous with taking part in the event whilst saving your fundraiser’s time, allowing them to complete everything at once.
We have several integrations with leading event registration platforms, but if you don’t have access to these, you can always include a deeplink as the final step to your registration journey instead of the usual confirmation page. Some suggested copy might be:
You’re almost there!
Thanks for signing up for <event name>, the next step is to kick off your fundraising by creating your JustGiving page <deeplink>
The confirmation email you send to event participants is a great place to include a button and deeplink. Not only is this another opportunity to capture participants at sign-up, but there is also a good chance they will revisit this email closer to the event date, giving you a second shot at converting them to online fundraising.
If you’re promoting an event on your organisation’s website, this is often the first place someone will look for information about fundraising, so another key place for a deeplink.
Including deeplinks on your website is also a great way to convert participants who have their own place and are considering fundraising. Some suggested copy:

Event information Emails
You’ll be communicating with your participants several times in the lead up to event day, so ensure you capture any stragglers by including a deeplink in these information emails. This way, any fundraiser looking to get started will only need to look to your last email.
Employee Email Signatures
Finally, there’s a good chance several of your colleagues are communicating with supporters and potential fundraisers on a day-to-day basis. Make the most of this communication by including a deeplink in your email signatures.
You can find the general deeplink for your charity (not event specific) by visiting your JustGiving charity homepage and copying the link behind your ‘start fundraising’ button:
