What makes a perfect page?
Get your fundraisers raising more thanks to our analysis
We've crunched the numbers from years gone by and here's what we've discovered: your fundraisers will raise more by simply making sure their pages include elements like photos, updates and by setting a punchy target.
Below are a list of page elements, and how including them affected the average page value for fundraisers with activated pages.
Adding one photo
Pages with one photo raised £208 more than pages that didn't.
Adding three or more photos
However, pages that included three or more photos were up £432 compared to those that did not, so clearly the more photos the better!
Adding a profile picture
Between 2017 and 2018 we saw a 25% increase year on year in value for pages that had included a profile pic. Supporters clearly find it easier to connect with the fundraisers when they see a recognisable face!
Adding a target
Fundraisers are often nervous about setting a target to achieve, however pages that have targets always raise more. Setting a fundraising target enabled pages to raise £212 more than pages that didn't in 2018.
Adding a page summary
Why should your fundraisers add a summary to their Page? In 2018 pages that did raised +£158 more
Adding a text update
Your fundraisers can boost their totals by +£207 by adding a text update
Adding three or more updates
The more updates the better, supporters want to know how fundraisers are doing. In 2018 pages including three or more updates raised +£312 more
Use five features
Using all five features will see a +£478 boost to your fundraisers
So what can you learn from this?
Encourage your half-marathon fundraisers to add photos and profile pictures, to post updates as they progress through their build-up and training, and be sure to include a page summary. It will help them raise more money and reach more people.
