Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In March 2016, my friend Claire experienced the most heartbreaking loss possible. Her beautiful baby girl, Evelyn Katie Ward, was born sleeping at 40 weeks.
Since then, I have learnt about how common this is and have learnt about the amazing charities that are there to support families through their terrible loss.
You may remember at Christmas I donated £20 to Aching Arms instead of sending out cards. This bought two teddies with Evelyn's name on. These teddies were then given to families who have already experienced the heartbreaking loss of a baby. It offers a little comfort in a time of darkness and allows them to have something to hold in their arms when they leave hospital. Aching Arms also trains midwives to be able to help parents dealing with the loss of a baby, something that sadly Claire was not given access to.
Due to my stupid depression rearing its ugly head again, my training has been far from easy. Bit I won't give up. Because no matter how hard my training is, Claire and Toby's journey is harder.
Please donate, you will be supporting an amazing charity and giving my reasons to get out there and train!
