Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On the 12th May I will be completing Tough Mudder to raise money for Behind Closed Doors - a charity in Leeds which supports victims of Domestic Violence. Tough Mudder consists of 20 obstacle courses over 10 miles which include mud, water, running through electric wires and a whole lot of stamina!

I have seen first hand the amazing work that Behind Closed Doors do and the support they provide victims of Domestic Violence is absolutely vital to their recovery!

So please dig deep and donate! Every little helps!

About the charity

Behind Closed Doors helps people throughout Leeds whose lives have been, or are, affected by domestic violence and abuse to cope, recover and move on from their experiences. Our Community Domestic Violence Team is part of the Leeds Domestic Violence Service, offering information, advocacy, and practical support to those who are at high risk as a result of their abusive relationship. Our Prevention and Recovery Service (PARS) offers a non-crisis response programme of emotional support to those affected by domestic violence and abuse who are at low risk of harm, helping them to make sense of their experience, recover and move on positively
