In memory of Ann Landale
We are moving further, faster to help everyone affected by a brain tumour

Story

In March 2016 our inspiration to the family; A loved wife, Mother of 2 Sons, Grandmother to 7 Grandchildren, Sister, Auntie, cousin. Mrs Ann Landale was diagnosed with a Grade 4 malignant Glioblastoma.

Ann was told a minumum of 7 weeks to live, therefore we fulfilled her dreams. The care she received from ALL of her family and her eldest Grandaughter who moved back to Leeds to care for her Grandmother day and night. Ann happily lived a total of 16 weeks- impressive!!. After fighting the illness and remaining strong Ann sadly passed away on 6th July 2016 surrounded by her family at home peacefully.

4th July 1944 - 6th July 2016. Age 72.

Many members of the Landale family are taking on a intense 7 Month training plan to be able to cycle 127 miles along Liverpool to Leeds canal.
The first day we will be getting the train early in the morning from Leeds to Liverpool with our bikes and belongings in a back pack.
Upon arrival at Liverpool we will start a 60mile bike ride along the canal to Blackburn.

We will then rest for the night in a hotel then wake up to stage 2 of the cycle event.
This will involve a 67 mile cycle along the canal from Blackburn to Leeds.
LEEDS is our finish line.
We have our route set up.
We will be cycling as a group where we will encourage and support one another.

This will be the biggest achievement we have done!.
All in memory of Ann Landale
There will be Ann's son's, Grandchildren, Nephew and other family members taking part.

Ann's phrase was always "We will do this" and that is the attitude we have towards this big event.

However, we would like as many people as possible to join if they would like to.

ALL DONATIONS ARE MORE THAN APPRECIATED AND ALL GOING TO A FANTASTIC CAUSE.
