12 Stops of Burwell on Christmas Eve
Fundraising for Little Miracles
Story
We are a group of lads who celebrate Christmas Eve, every year by having a few drinks together and getting very jolly!
Last year we did something really cool by organising a drinking tour of Burwell stopping off at friends, families and pubs, lead by Father Christmas! The reason why it was so cool, is because we raised £400 in just one day for Help Danny Hear, a local boy and we helped make a real difference to his Christmas.
This year we are raising money for Little Miracles. A local charity who support families with children that have autism, additional needs, disabilities and life limiting conditions as well as their carers and siblings. After speaking to a parent who receives help from Little Miracles, it was really touchig to understand not only what this charity does for local children but how much this means to parents and what this support gives families. Creating normal, fun activities and days out that wouldn’t be possible, is just such an amazing cause.
This year we are going bigger and better, so keep an eye out for us or listen out for that bell ringing round the streets of Burwell, but go one better and donate!
In just one day last year with v poor organisation we raised £400 that probably just would’ve been spent on alcohol. So please do something different, donate and tick gift aid this Christmas! We would love to reach this target and make a real difference!!!
