Story
It's always great to help where you can, especially for brilliant causes like this.
The Feed is a social enterprise with a mission to motivate people and prevent poverty, hunger and homelessness in Norwich. Their chains of cafes and catering businesses generate revenue and the profits allow them to support people in many ways. This includes providing work experience in their cafes to help people who've faced homelessness, addiction, poor mental health and other issues.
When I saw this challenge, I knew I could use my love of walking to help. Last significant challenges were climbing both Machu Picchu and the Yorkshire 3 Peaks in May & June 2016. So nearly 6 years ago and admittedly over completely different terrains to the Norfolk Coast.
However it's still 26 miles and I know some decent training will get me there. I'm really happy to be taking part in this with my lovely friend Kayte. She's a self-confessed fitness addict and a leader within the NHS working with our mental health services.
Thank you
