Okay folks. I have decided to put my getting-fit-again-following-a-serious-illness to good use. After a year of lying around and generally being mollycoddled, I am going to pledge to walk at least 2 million steps during 2016. Putting my best foot forward during January I have achieved an average of 5000 steps per day - so it is definitely do-able, so long as I can sustain that effort for the whole year AND lay down an extra 200,000 steps along the way. All monies to Freedom from Torture.
