We support the thousands of patients and families at Sheffield Children’s, from across the UK and beyond, by funding the life-changing and the joy-sparking. We make clinical care kinder, and bad days brighter. We bring play, laughter and comfort to places where they’re needed the most.

Story

This page is a sponsorship method for my latest fundraising event, 20-16. The idea is simple. I will attempt to complete 20 sports in 16 hours, at Lady Manners School on 15/07/2016, with the help of other students at the school.

Back in 2012 I received the news that I had Acute Myloid Leukaemia, a rare and aggressive form of blood cancer. I underwent three courses of chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant at Sheffield Children's Hospital. The care I received there was phenomenal and it inspired me to try and raise money for the Children's Hospital Charity to help improve their facilities, so they can match the incredible standard of care. Since then I have set about fundraising for the Charity in as many different ways as possible to get to my £150,000 target. This event is one of those ways, and is set to be an exciting and challenging sponsored sport event.

The money receive from this event will go into the Andrew Davies fund within the Children's Hospital Charity, and this money is then split between Leukaemia Research and the Ward M3 where I was treated.

Thank You for taking the time to visit this Just Giving page and please help me to Make it Better for patients in the future.
