Story

Thanks for visiting the Surfers Against Sewage 2010 Challenge page.

In June this year a team of five of the UK's best stand up paddleboarders will be undertaking a Guinness World Record-breaking attempt to cross the English Channel from Dover to Calais.

The team is made up of:

Elliot Dudley - Welsh Longboard Champion 2004-2009
Jock Patterson - British Stand Up Paddleboard Champion 2009
Matt Argyle - British Stand Up Paddleboard Champion 2nd place 2009
Simon Bassett - Stand Up Paddleboard expert and head coach of the British Stand Up Paddle Association
Claire Blacklock - British Women's Stand Up Paddleboard Champion 2009

This event is in aid of not-for-profit organisation Surfers Against Sewage (SAS) and their clean water campaigns around the UK, and would not be possible without the support of the British Stand Up Paddle Association. SAS campaigns to protect surfers, waveriders, waves and beaches around the UK, and this year marks the 20th anniversary of their continued campaigning efforts.

Please sponsor our paddlers to show your support and help us to reach our fundraising target!
