I have supported The Waterberg Trust for many years as a trustee. It is a small charity working to support the welfare of the poorest people in this special region of South Africa along the Limpopo basin. The need has never been greater than in these times of Covid 19.  Our support programme provides for the basic needs of people in the community such as providing food parcels for those in the direst need and Sweet Dream packs so that the teenage girls can go to school uninterrupted.     In non Covid times, we support 'Boys to Men' mentoring which encourage and help young men to make better choices as well as after school clubs, environmental education programmes and conservation projects.  The list is varied and long.  Everything TWT does enhances the welfare of the people of the Waterberg .   

To raise funds which will go directly to those who need it, we are cycling across from Cambridge to North Norfolk, across Wicken Fen (see Photo) and through other nature reserves. With gale force winds forecast it will be a challenging ride to test resilience and determination.   Your support would be very much appreciated - please do give generously.
