HI FOLKS.....As you can see at last, we completed the trip, though with a change of vehicle due to a few 'serious' problems with Tornadoes. We had to change vehicle (to a car) at St.Louis.MS. in order to continue the journey safely as several states were being badly hit by very extreme weather and worse conditions were forecast for the states we were heading towards. Our absolute disappointment was overcome when we visited places such as The Painted Desert, Petrified Forest, Santa Fe, The Grand Canyon, Meteor Crater, Joe's Diner, Berts Bar & of course San Francisco ( though we can hardly remember the 60's, so what chance ! ).

We will try to send a small selection of  photos to sponsors (where possible) soon. Meanwhile a massive THANK YOU to all who donated, only MACMILLAN could be more pleased with your generosity.                                                                                    all the best Brian,Baz,Les,Jim & Jim.(We might just have to try again at a later date, joints permitting ! )

July 6:LATEST.. Jim's workmates (Myers in Huntingdon) have raised c.£500 (to be donated offline) & Andy's Romsey Town Cricket Club another £200 approx. (presentation later).  BRILLIANT FELLAS !!!!   That's taken us well past the £2000.00 mark in total.
